About GIEN

The Global Internet Evangelism Network is a community of evangelists and technologists who are committed to using the Internet to share the good news of the gospel. In addition to sharing, it is committed to discipling and preparing people for Christ's return.

Global Internet Evangelism Network was organized in 2004 as an initiative of the Council on Evangelism & Witness of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The GIEN initiative aims to foster mission of the Adventist Church through creative use of contemporary Internet technology. An annual and international event, the GIEN Forum is sponsored and facilitated by the Communication Department of the world Seventh-day Adventist Church, in cooperation with the church's world divisions and lay initiatives.
