Here's a recap of news in the last month related to the Global Internet Evangelism Network:
- Adventist News Network covered our Forum 2009, taking particular interest in reports from Paul Richardson and Jobson Santos. Their research identifies the value of Internet usage in evangelism and the expanse left to cover before our Web reach matches our physical presence.
- Also reported this month from ANN is the introduction of a new certification course in developing content for new media at Helderberg College in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently accepting 10 applicants in the program's first term, the goal is to equip students with skills necessary to produce, edit and distribute productions using new media methods.
- Finally, Adventist Layman's Services & Industries (ASI) noted the grand prize winner of the netPrize award which was given at our Forum 2009. A big congratulations to Pacific Union Conference and all other recipients and applicants.
